MegaFerm consists of a high-quality yeast culture that promotes fermentation in the rumen. The yeasts in MegaFerm feed the rumen bacteria that help to digest the feed. Because digestion proceeds better and faster, it is possible to get more forage into the cow's rumen.
Adding yeasts to the ration neutralises the rumen pH, optimising the fermentation and digestion of forage. It also stabilises the rumen pH, benefiting the health of the rumen bacteria and the cow herself. Adding MegaFerm to the ration increases milk production and boosts the fat and protein content of the milk.
